Autumnal Equinox Celebration with Rev. Roxanne Pendleton

Saturday, September 22, 10:15-11:45am

Cost: $15 drop-in or class pass

Join us for a special celebration of the Autumnal Equinox led by Rev. Roxanne Pendleton, CYT200! This special day marks the time when light and darkness are equally balanced. We will begin with a 60-minute Prana Vinyasa yoga practice, followed by an optional, 30-minute series of mindfulness practices and journaling designed to guide you as you dive into your own, deep, inner experience. This “shadow work” is important for revealing our light, so we invite you to take advantage of this opportunity for personal reflection. After class, all students are invited to share a delicious lunch together at Seva, Roxanne’s favorite local Indian restaurant!

Please consider bringing a friend or family member who is new to yoga or to Yoga Liberty! Roxanne’s classes are open to all levels, and beginners are especially welcome. Poses can be modified to meet individual needs. Those choosing to stay for the mindfulness practices are encouraged to bring paper and pen for journaling. We will have supplies on hand as well!

Astrology, Yoga, and YOU with Linda Yameen

Saturday, October 6, 1:00-3:00pm

Cost: $30 per person

Did you know that the planets express in the world through you?
Did you know that each chakra is guided by a planet?

The biggest luminaries in the sky, the sun and the moon, affect us in a variety of ways. But the other planets, their signs and their placement in the sky (called houses) provide clues about our personality, our soul lessons and our biggest work on the planet. Let's work with the Cosmic Energy in a way that allows it to unfold in our bodies as vitality and health.

Led by Linda Yameen, this workshop will be part asana, lecture, pranayama and include some restorative poses.
