Join Miss Kristen for the fun! This exciting workshop, specially developed for school aged children, will allow children to explore poses, breathing exercises, visual imagery, and relaxation techniques. On top of all of that fun, we will play yoga games, do a craft that will help our environment, have a healthy snack! All little yogis are welcome, while their parents spend some well-deserved time for themselves.

On the 2nd Tuesday of each month, Susan will lead a chanting group in the Meditation Chapel at Unity of Kansas City North from 6:30 to 7:30 PM. No experience or vocal skills are necessary. Come share in the sacred bond of chanting as a way of achieving a deeper connection with Spirit. EVERYONE WELCOME!
Ayurveda 101: The Basics, Part 1

Join Susan Harp, Ayurvedic Yoga Specialist (AYS) in this 2 hour introduction to this 5,000 year old system of health, self-care and expansion.
Susan will introduce you to Ayurvedic philosophy, the elements as they relate to the body and mind, the doshas (your constitution), the 20 gunas (attributes) and the Ayurvedic seasonal clock. Gain a higher understanding of your Self, and learn how to identify imbalances within your system!
This is the beginning of a series that Susan will be offering, so you are encouraged to dive in and start healing and understanding your Self!
Handouts will be provided, but Students are encouraged to bring a journal or writing materials to take notes!
Dancing with your Dosha: Discovering your Ayurvedic Constitution with Susan Harp, AYS

Vata, Pitta, Kapha – which one are YOU? In Ayurveda, doshas express the unique blends of physical, emotional and mental mind-body constitutions of each person. By identifying your dosha, you can create a supportive, healthy lifestyle that brings balance to your daily routine.
Join Susan Harp, Ayurvedic Yoga Specialist (AYS) in this 2 hour introduction to the doshas. Working with the elements and the qualities of the gunas, Susan will help you identify your unique constitution, look at diet, movement, and daily practices that work with the doshas and the seasons, and learn how to identify and heal imbalances within your system!
This is a lecture and interaction-based workshop, so yoga movement is not required - ALL LEVELS WELCOME!
